I make a lot of wedding rings, many of them matched sets, and I derive considerable satisfaction from creating such significant, and even symbolic jewelry. The expression "tying the knot" has been used for weddings in general, and I think there are some ceremonies where the couple literally are tied together with a ribbon or sash.

Imagine, if you will, not just exchanging rings, but actually making each other's rings before the ceremony. I've had a number of workshops where couples participated and each made a ring to fit the other person's ring finger, and so far it's been a pretty interesting and uplifting experience.

Expect to take all day, because you won't jump right into working with the gold wire for the final ring. I'll have you tie the first one in pure silver, for practice and to make sure the size is correct, so that you'll be confident and relaxed when you start the ring that you'll be seeing on your intended's hands for the rest of your lives.
Please email me for prices and scheduling arrangments.
